The Boys and Girls Club is an organization that is all about helping the community and the kids in them. This organizations mission is to reach out to kids in need, and give them to opportunity to grow as a person and bring out their full potential. The Boys and Girls Club offers multiple programs and activities for kids to come and have fun and make friends in the community. We also provide guidance and programs that help them prepare for their future and help them become a well rounded individual.

Job Description
A. As an intern at The Boys and Girls Club, my responsibilities are set around planning and working the multiple programs we offer throughout the summer. As Program Director I am in charge of thinking of fun active games that the kids will enjoy, while giving them a recreation feel.
Requirements and Qualifications
B. The requirements to become an intern is pretty standard. You must have some experience working in a camp setting or a Non-Profit Organization. You have to be older than 18 years old. Most importantly be a person who knows how to work with kids and work in a team environment. This organization is about the kids and they want to hire employees who are excited about helping them succeed.

You really learn how to be responsible and organization skills. Being an intern is a very important part of the staff, and multiple people are counting on you to do your job. I learned how to be more organized and productive in not just the workplace, but overall in your daily life. I got to gain knowledge in the planning and leading process when it comes to all the programs they provide. I got the chance to take part in multiple special events and lead activities and learn how to be a leader. Most importantly as an intern you get the chance to grow as person, help the kids in the community, and really get to impact their lives and their futures.
My overall experience interning for The Boys and Girls Club has been very beneficial for me. I got to learn about being a vital part of an organization, leadership skills, and impacting kids and the local community. I am very fortunate to have had the chance to for this organization and hope this will help me further my career and overall knowledge of the Non-Profit organization world.
